CE & In-Service Training
MONTHLY Professional Training and Caregiver Stabilization System
SHS&S provides non-medical continuing education (CE) and in-service training for medical, non-medical and other professionals, plus a caregiver stabilization program and an operating system that tracks real results from real caregivers.
1. Our approach
A full-service caregiving system
Structured Holistic Services & Schedules, LLC (SHS&S) provides a non-medical caregiver support system that brings all of our services and products under one operating system:
- Our Plan of Care Manual
- The SHS&S Operating System
- Our caregiver support and stabilization program
- Professional training
- Monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting for up to a full year
Together, these give professionals, caregivers, families and organizations a structured way to track real results from the caregivers and professionals using our services.
2. Who we serve
Medical, non-medical and professionals in other fields
Our supportive services begin with a single four-hour class. The training was created for caregivers, families and healthcare professionals, and has now expanded to serve medical and non-medical professionals and those in other fields.
It brings together everyone involved with the caregiver and patient, so we support not just the patient, but the caregiver and patient as a unit.
3. Professional education & caregiver stabilization
Built on 30+ years of caregiving experience
Our focus is not to duplicate the specialized training or compliance programs each profession already requires. Instead, we address the shared need for caregiver burnout prevention, stabilization and continuity of care, through practical education and a working operating system that supports implementation, documentation and reporting.
4. The four-hour training
Designed around busy professionals
The four-hour training is the entryway. Professionals learn the causes, effects, consequences and solutions to caregiver burnout, and are introduced to a complete system of practical tools and resources they can apply and share with the caregivers and families they serve.
5. How the process works
Step 1: Professionals complete the four-hour training
Many professionals who work directly with caregivers and families experience burnout themselves. This is not a coincidence: they are part of the same ecosystem. When one person is overwhelmed, it affects everyone involved, including the patient.
Step 2: Caregivers and families receive practical tools
Through our 4-6 week caregiver stabilization program, caregivers learn practical tools and resources for their caregiving journey, including how to care for their own needs so they don't compromise their own health and well-being while caring for others.
Step 3: The Operating System tracks participation
After about five weeks, each caregiver completes a short completion sheet of about 10 yes/no questions and receives a certificate. The system organizes participant information, completion records and caregiver feedback, showing that real caregivers took the course with real results.
Step 4: Organizations receive ongoing reports
The same yes/no sheet is repeated each quarter as a check-in. Monthly, quarterly and yearly reports let the organization follow participation, program completion and the benefits caregivers report over time, with follow-up for one year.
6. Three main services
Supporting caregivers and the professionals who serve them
Educate and stabilize the caregiver
We educate caregivers about burnout prevention and stabilization, and help them find and train additional caregivers who can help a few days a week. That gives more than respite: consistent support, so the main caregiver doesn't lose their own health while caring for others.
Teach practical application
We guide caregivers in using available resources, organizing care and building a sustainable support system.
The SHS&S Operating System
Tracks each caregiver through the 4-6 week stabilization program and records their feedback on how it benefited the family and the patient. Ongoing check-ins document whether the program keeps benefiting the caregiver, patient and family, so professionals can document continuity of care.
7. The SHS&S Operating System
The same consistent design principle as our Manual
Our Plan of Care Manual is designed to be personalized by the caregivers who use it. We built the Operating System on the same principle: one consistent structure that adapts to each agency's needs.
It is a structured portal where each agency uploads information from the caregivers and families it serves. From this we create monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for the agency and its professionals.
It is more than training. The system gives a consistent foundation while accommodating the needs of caregivers, families and professionals from many fields, medical and non-medical, across a variety of organizations. It supports ongoing monitoring, documentation and continuity of care, as proof that real individuals benefited.
Questions agencies often ask
- What will our professionals receive? Four hours of practical education.
- What can we offer our caregivers and families? A 4-6 week stabilization program, a Plan of Care Manual and tools for building support systems.
- What happens after the training? Professionals use the SHS&S Operating System to track each caregiver who takes the 4-6 week program, where caregivers create their personalized plan of care.
- What can the Operating System show over time? Monthly, quarterly and yearly reports on participation and the benefits caregivers report.
8. Continuing education, not CEU credits
Why SHS&S provides CE and does not award CEU credits
SHS&S provides continuing education through a non-medical stabilization program that combines education, practical tools and an Operating System for tracking participants and reporting.
Our decision
The professionals and organizations we serve come from diverse fields with different standards, competencies and compliance requirements. CEU credits may not meet the requirements of every profession, so we have chosen not to award them. This lets us serve a diverse group of professionals without centering our program on any single profession's credit requirements.
Our educational material draws on professional caregiving experience, established training and applicable professional standards.
Each organization decides
The receiving agency determines whether the material meets its own professional development or in-service requirements. We recognize that not every organization will accept it as qualifying continuing education under its own rules.
Our services are not designed to measure independent clinical outcomes.
